Choosing Joy
There are many forms of joy. The joy of creating beauty, the joy of receiving a gift, the joy of expressing love.
But there is another kind of joy that if chosen, far outweighs it all. A joy that breaks through the hard ground, hopes in the darkness and sings in the chaos. This joy gives strength when there is not a fibre of your being left to hold on. It is a joy so deep and so fulfilling, because it stems from the very heart of God.
Little Daisies//Everyday Beauties

And the little things often speak more of life than the occasional grand moments that we pursue so hard after.
A Mothers Day Post // Deborah
The story of Deborah can be found in Judges 4 and 5. She is termed as a Mother in Israel, one who arose when there was a time of much oppression and difficulty (Judges 5:6-7). Deborah inspires me because she not only knew the time and season she was in, she arose when the time was right and knew exactly what to do!!
