Wait to Bloom // Spring flowers

I stayed in a Campus University in the United Kingdom while studying. In the middle of the university campus used to be a beautiful lake with ducks and geese and a lovely array of flowers throughout spring into summer.

I used to love taking long walks through the seasons along the lakeside, spying on baby cygnets and watching swans glide seamlessly on the surface of the water. Each season was different, each season taught me different lessons.

Mountains and Skies // God’s love

Chasing Beauty

Some people like chasing sunsets, others maybe cars? I like chasing butterflies.

The events of the past days had been harrowing, to see her Lord and Teacher being nailed to a cross, hit her. She had hoped that someone He wouldn’t breath His last, He was the Messiah after all, one who was to save, one who healed and raised the dead, could He not have… prevented all this.

‘Woman, Why are you crying?’ Two angels asked her.

“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”

Finding stillness in the Midst of a Storm

But then it occurred to me. This is not where the boat belongs. Yes the boat is placed by the shore when not in use, but where it finds it purpose and destiny is when it is out there on the sea, weathering the winds and the waves.
