These unsung little flowers are my favourite flowers.
Why? Precisely because they minister in their own little way. They spring up as they are, white and yellow beauties on the ground. And sometimes, actually get stepped on without being noticed.

Life is often about the little things.
The silly shaped clouds, the flappy dog outside your house and sometimes (if you try hard enough) – the pile of dishes that you are washing.
And the little things often speak more of life than the occasional grand moments that we pursue so hard after.
The project seemed simple enough, use 3 or so colours, and paint a heron flying in the sky.
Only that I kept adding stuff until the painting reached a really ugly stage, like an almost unsavable stage in watercolour…

Whenever I look at birds flying, I sense freedom. One may often think of freedom when they see an eagle soaring high.
I used to see freedom as the ability to do whatever I want without being controlled or limited. But now, I no longer see freedom as that. I have found that freedom must also encompass the ability (or freedom) to say no to what we want to.
