We all have wounds. We all need inner healing and deliverance to a certain extend. I myself have been on this journey and still am on this journey.
Throughout the journey I have had times where I reached a bit of a ceiling in my walk. It is during these times that I have sought the Lord and the Lord has graciously allowed me to be in touched with people and resources that added to my healing.
If you are on a journey of healing and feel you need a little more input and resources, or you are helping someone on their healing journey, here are five online resources/ministries that have been a blessing to me.
- Deeper Walk International: I found out about Deeper Walk International through a friend and it has given me so much practical advice in my journey. The website is very comprehensive and covers areas including inner healing, counseling, joy and freedom, complex trauma, spiritual warfare and the brain science of it all. What I really appreciate about them is they teach on both the neuroscience of healing and the biblical basis for healing in simple language. Dr Marcus Warner, who currently leads deeper walk, makes healing and spiritual warfare understandable and accessible for the everyday person to practice, and gives a wholistic model for growth. He also gives very useful tools and acronyms that help you in various circumstances.
- THRIVEtoday: This one actually hits an emotional cord in me because it was central to me being able to feel joy again. Chris Coursey of Thrive today gives very practical tips on how to get your joy switch or relational circuit on. For some of us, we may not have had the ideal birth or childhood and thrive teaches skills that may seem very basic to the average person. Thrive helps you to fill the gaps that you may have missed out in during the developmental stages of life, especially something called the joy centre of the brain. I paid for the foundational 5 course and seriously practiced their exercises. It helped me reach a new baseline normal of joy in my everyday life.
- Kanaan Ministries: Not for the faint hearted but an extremely detailed and comprehensive deliverance ministry. They provide resources and prayer guides for a range of situations from simple covenants that need to be broken to resources for those helping people who have gone through SRA/severe abuse. I suggest this for therapist or those dealing with complex cases as you can find sample prayers and renunciations with explanations that helps cover areas that are not normally addressed.
- Heartsync: I received my first heartsync from a friend and I found this approach to inner healing gentle, spirit led and very transformational. They introduce you to something called an Immanuel Moment that you can carry forward to your daily walk, where you hear directly from the Lord and receive healing from Jesus daily.
- Sapphire Leadership Group: I found out about Sapphire after using the book Blessing Your Spirit. A lot of times in healing, we focus on the soul and the body but neglect the very vital role of the human spirit in engaging with God and facilitating healing. Sapphires ministry fills this gap. They have many audio blessings and also tools for healing when you have tried all the other tools and feel a little stuck. The website takes a little more effort to navigate, but to the seeking heart, its a treasure chest of wisdom and perspective.
I hope you will find these online resources useful for your journey. Most importantly, remember that it is the Lord Jesus that brings healing to us and that these are simply tools to bring us closer to the Lord. May you find the grace and healing you need. More than ever, may you never cease worshipping while you wait.
