Welcome to my home, friend,

Its not spick and span;

Nothing really fancy,

But It’ll shelter you from rain.

I have some food in the pantry;

Its not five star cuisine,

But it’ll keep you from getting hungry.

Welcome to my home, friend,

It’s a little crowded in here;

The bathroom may take some waiting,

But there’s still space and lots of cheer.

Welcome dear one,

I don’t have much to share;

But what I have i give,

Please do not despair.

Life can overwhelm us,

But be comforted and rest assure;

That here, you are welcomed, loved and accepted,

Thank you can be sure.
