Journey to the Cross // Interactive Prayer Stations

Hello everyone, Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday is coming up and I have a resource I created to share with you all. It is some interactive prayer stations you can use over this season so that people can engage with the Good Friday and Easter story. Its great especially if you have a prayer space or church.

There is a total of 7 stations in this prayer guide, you can print out the posters and prepare the tools for people to engage. If printing is a problem, you can also use it as a powerpoint.

How to use the prayer stations

  1. READ: Get a bible. At each station, flip to the passage given and meditate on it.
  2. REFLECT: Use the picture/ items / words on the poster to reflect on the real events of Jesus trial, death and crucifixion.
  3. RESPOND: Use the post-it notes/respond cards to interact and respond to the reading and reflection. It may include writing a prayer/ commitment. Use the pens and paper provided.

I used the above to set up the prayer room in our church along with the Sunday school children and they really got creative!

Below are the links for download. Do download the instruction sheet and the gospel coloured cards too! If you used it, I would love to hear some feedback! Blessed Holy Week.
